MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis recording artist, actress, filmmaker, and entrepreneur Brandē Pa'trice recently performed the unreleased original anthem "I Feel Like Memphis In May" during the FIFA Festival in Houston, introducing the song to an international audience gathered to celebrate one of the world's premier sporting events.

Written, produced, and performed by Christopher Forest, professionally known as K.Le DaVincci, the song features Brandē Pa'trice and Trey 2Am. Together, the collaboration celebrates the culture, resilience, and musical legacy that have made Memphis one of the world's most influential music cities.

Originally written as a tribute to the 49th Annual Memphis in May International Festival, "I Feel Like Memphis In May" was created to honor one of the city's most beloved traditions. As the project continued to build momentum throughout Memphis, it was later invited into consideration for the festival's historic 50th Annual celebration.

Rather than immediately releasing the song through traditional streaming platforms, K.Le DaVincci chose to allow the project to grow organically. Through live performances, community support, and regional radio exposure, the record quickly began attracting attention throughout the Mid-South.

Although the song has not yet been commercially released, it has already received airplay on Memphis radio stations 107.1 and 103.5, including promotional commercial support. Following its international debut at the FIFA Festival, anticipation for the official release has continued to grow, with additional details expected to be announced in the near future.

Beyond the FIFA Festival performance, "I Feel Like Memphis In May" also serves as the featured soundtrack for the upcoming short film One Block Away from Everything. Written and directed by Brandē Pa'trice, the film stars K.Le DaVincci in the lead role, extending the creative partnership from music into film while continuing to spotlight Memphis storytelling and talent.

The project represents a collaborative effort from Memphis creatives across multiple disciplines. The record features performances by K.Le DaVincci, Brandē Pa'trice, and Trey 2Am, was co-engineered by Paris "NinjaMane901" Brown, and mastered by Kevin Nix, reflecting the depth of artistic talent found throughout the city.

Brandē Pa'trice brings an accomplished career to the stage. With more than 34 million career music streams, she has been recognized as Most Streamed Artist by the Memphis Hip Hop Awards, R&B Artist of the Year by the Tri-State Awards, and Best Solo Female Artist by the Tri-State Defender's Best in Black Awards. Her résumé includes performances during Super Bowl XXXVII festivities, halftime appearances for the Harlem Globetrotters, and a Houston Rockets vs. Los Angeles Lakers halftime show. She has also been featured in Maybelline New York's "She's Born With It" campaign, leads the BrandēWine Entertainment Adopt-A-Highway initiative, and is a graduate of Texas Southern University.

For K.Le DaVincci, the project continues a family legacy deeply connected to Memphis music. He is the grandson of Earl L. Forest, an early Memphis musician associated with the legendary Beale Streeters, whose members included influential artists such as B.B. King and helped shape the sound and history of Memphis music. Inspired by that legacy, K.Le DaVincci continues creating music that honors the city's heritage while introducing its next generation of artists to audiences around the world.
